Adjunct Instructor Speech Communication/Theatre Arts

The School of Arts and Humanities at Ferrum College seeks an Adjunct Instructor of Speech Communication/Theatre Arts to teach undergraduate courses in speech and other theatre courses based on qualifications.  The ideal candidate will have strengths and graduate credentials in both areas.  This position is to begin January 15th. 

Qualifications:  A minimum of the Master of Arts and three years teaching experience at a college level are preferred.  Secondary teaching considered.  A strong commitment to the liberal arts classroom is expected.

Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry

The School of Natural Sciences at Ferrum College invites applications for Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry for the spring 2010 semester.  A successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree and a minimum of 18 graduate hours of chemistry coursework.  Course assignment will depend on expertise and interests and could consist of introductory chemistry, general chemistry, analytical chemistry, or forensic science.  Each course includes both a classroom and laboratory component.
