Ferrum College offers Long-term Disability Insurance at no cost to employees. Employees who enroll are provided a plan booklet that outlines the benefits provided through the plan. The long-term disability benefits are paid through Unum, and the plan is administered by Marsh Advantage America.

Full-time and regular part-time employees are eligible the first day of the month following employment.
