     First thing: Make sure you have opened this in the application you will use to create web pages (Frontpage, Dreamweaver or equivalent) and choose "Save As" right away. Save it as some other name, that way you can always use this template to create new web documents.

     Next: Don't change anything in the table at the top or bottom where the header and footer are. They will appear on your webpage when it goes up. Also, the sliding Menu bar will appear too (the code for it is tucked inside this page, although you can't see it). To test, always use the "Preview" tab towards the bottom left of your page in FrontPage to see what the finished product will look like.

     Lastly: Just Delete everything in this box (think of this as a Word document and just select and delete all text; you can also cut and paste directly from a Word document into a page). It's best if you keep the table this is in to be safe, but if you want to make new ones, make sure they are no bigger than 85% wide (the same size as the ones the header and footer are in).
