Tracy Sigmon Holley '96
Tracy Sigmon Holley '96 became Director of Alumni and Family Programs in August 2011.
As an alumna, Tracy brings an immediate and well-established connection to the Ferrum
community at large. She has been at Ferrum since July 2001 working in the Alumni Office.
Tracy oversees such fall traditions as Homecoming/Family Day -- including the popular
Corron Classic Golf Tournament. She also coordinates Alumni Chapters across the state,
including: Blue Ridge, Charlottesville, Richmond, Staunton, Tidewater and Washington,
D.C.. She is the liaison between the Alumni Board of Directors and college leadership.
The Ferrum College Sweetheart Society is another of Tracy's responsibilities. Sweethearts
in this context are couples who met and fell in love at Ferrum College. Please contact
her if you are the latest additions to this long list!
With an eye to the future, Tracy is the energy behind several key events for students
who are soon-to-be alumni as she hosts the Senior Dinner Dance and serves as an advisor
to the senior class officers.

Ferrum provided me with leadership and experiential learning opportunities that are
unmatched at most institutions. These experiences not only shaped my academic and
professional interests, but also challenged my beliefs, strengthened my curiosity,
and forced me to re-examine my role in a global society.
