Arboretum Progress Update:
Gazebo Placement and Additional Work

We had a very successful workday in the arboretum on July 12 and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that participated or donated materials.  We also appreciate those of you that wanted to help but were unable to be on campus Monday.  You will get your chance.  What a great day of hard work and sharing of talents.  You are to be commended.  Other than some of you that may have contributed without us knowing,  I would like to thank the following for their help that day:

I would also like to thank the members of Faith Assembly Church in Ferrum for the donation of the new gazebo.  We have also created an area between the new gazebo and the water garden under the Chaste trees as what we hope will become a sculpture garden.  We have place the benches that were purchase to honor Jane Stogner and Rachel Denham in that area.  Please stop down and take a look.  Any donations of time, plants, or money for future projects will be welcomed.  We should be able to announce shortly a couple of other exciting developments dealing with projects and funding for the arboretum!
