  What is Panther PAWS?
Part One of the Gateway Program at Ferrum College is Panther PAWS, Pre-registration and Assessment Workshop in the Summer, an event involving new students and their parents or other family members. New Ferrum families will come to campus for a day to learn about the college, meet students' advisors, and register for classes.

What can Panther PAWS do for you?
introduce you to other Ferrum Students,
   introduce you to your advisor,
introduce you to administrators, faculty and staff members at Ferrum,
help you and your parents or guardians learn about services provided by the college,
and allow you to choose classes for the fall.

Who should come to Panther PAWS?
All students who have been admitted to Ferrum College and have paid their $200 deposits should come to one of the PAWS sessions. Parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to come, as well.
