Ferrum financial aid staff members will help you meet college costs through a comprehensive program of academic and merit awards, need-based grants, loans, work-study, and tuition payment options such as Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plans. Even though not all Ferrum students applied for financial aid last year, over 98% received some help in meeting their college expenses during 2007-2008. The average need-based financial aid package contains awards from scholarships and grants (66% of total award), loans (25% of award), and work-study opportunities (9% of award).
