DRAGON LORE and LITERATURE

Dragons have long been one of the most popular mythical creatures, from ancient legends to modern fantasies and recent stories and poems with tame or humorous dragons. This course combines literature, folklore and writing with exposure to film, art, history, research and popular culture. Students will examine a variety of short illustrated books and contribute to a web site about dragon books.
