We recently finished an addition to the Stanley Library that created five new high-tech classrooms and a beautiful "Founders Room" that will serve as meeting space for our Board of Trustees and special community groups.   The room is situated on the west side of the addition and features a window wall overlooking Adams Lake, the Farm Museum, and the spectacular surrounding countryside.   Because of the impact of the United Methodist Women on Ferrum College, both historically and currently, we decided to honor that group by mounting a plaque at the entrance to the room, inscribed with the words "With Special Recognition to United Methodist Women - Because They Had the Vision."
