Ferrum Belltower
Ornament on the National Christmas Tree in Washington, DC!
The brilliant gold ornament featuring Vaughn Chapel's iconic Belltower
is hanging on the National Christmas Tree on the Capitol lawn. This
year's National Tree was provided by Virginia for the first time,
coming from nearby Highland County and measuring 67 feet tall. The
Ferrum Lions Club ornaments, many of which feature beautiful laser-cut
renditions of Ferrum College's historic buildings, have been very
popular. Three ornaments from the Ferrum Lions Club are on the National
Christmas Tree: our Belltower, St. James and Phoebe Needles. This
summer the latest Lions Club ornament of Ferrum's beloved Roberts
Hall, will debut in time to commemorate its renovations.
Special thanks to Dorothy Cundiff, Director of the
Rocky Mount Retail Merchants Association who made sure our regional
ornaments made it on the National Tree. Ferrum
Lions Club Ornaments are sold at the Ferrum College Bookstore.

Ferrum Fudge is Here for the Holidays!
Get Your Order in by Dec. 10th!
Orders for Chef Bo’s fantastic Ferrum Fudge, packaged in a
terrific collectible tin box featuring the Panther logo, must be
received by Friday, December 10. The delicious made-from-scratch
fudge will be shipped by December 17 to ensure delivery by Christmas.
This is a great gift for just about everyone on your list!
Individual
orders are $7.25 per tin, + $3.00 for mailing. For orders of two
to four tins mailed to the same address, the cost is $7.25 per tin
+ $4.00 for mailing the multiple tins (for example, 2 tins would
be $7.25 x 2 = $14.50 + $4.00 for mailing = $18.50 total).
Please make
checks payable to Ferrum College and mail to Chef Bo Bernard, Ferrum
College, Ferrum, VA, P.O. Box 24088.
And remember,
orders must be received by this Friday, December 10!
