Daryl L. Nash
Assistant Professor of Agriculture
Hi, my name is Daryl Nash. I am an Assistant Professor of Agriculture at Ferrum College in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in southwest Virginia. I teach animal science and agribusiness courses at Ferrum. I am also co-advisor of the Ferrum College Agriculture Club. My research interests include the genetics of disease reistance in domestic animals and applications of operation research methodologies to agricultural problems. I enjoy watching sports (especially college basketball and football), traveling, reading history and science fiction, playing basketball and computer games, and collecting die-cast scale models of tractors and farm machinery.
