Dan received B.S. degrees in both Physics and Mathematics from the University of Akron in 1998. He continued on to graduate school at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he received his M.S. in Physics in 2001 followed by his Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics in 2005. He is currently Assistant Professor of Physics at Ferrum College and finds writing about himself in the third person extremely disconcerting.

During the 2008-2009 academic year, Dan is also acting as the coordinator for the Chemistry program until this guy gets off his sabbatical.
