Lieb and Weymouth were joined by three teammates on the VaSID Women's Lacrosse All-State Team (University Division) while four of Murphy's charges were also named to the first team.

The Cavaliers led all schools with eight players named to the two teams, including Tyler Leachman, Julie Hauser, and Kim Connors, all of whom joined Lieb and Weymouth on the first team. The Spiders had six players honored, including Jackie Swansburg, the goalie on the first team.

Joining Swansburg on the first team were Samantha Tract, Caroline McGuire, and Mandy Friend. James Madison claimed five players, including Kelly Berger and Kylee Dardine, both of whom were on the first team. Virginia Tech's Lindsey Peiper was named to the first team while two teammates were honored on the second team. William & Mary had two honorees, Kristen Wong and Colleen Dalon, both of whom were named to the second team.

Lieb was a Tewaaraton Trophy finalist and was named the National Defensive Midfielder of the Year by insidelacrosse.com. She was a consensus first-team All-American for the third consecutive year and also was named All-ACC and All-ACC Tournament for the third consecutive year as well. Lieb led the Cavaliers in draw controls (43) and caused turnovers (24) and was second in ground balls (44).

Weymouth was consensus National Rookie of the Year after earning the nod from both womenslacrosse.com and insidelacrosse.com.  She ranked second on the team in scoring with 49 goals and 21 assists and ranked fourth in draw controls.

Murphy led the Spiders to their second consecutive A-10 title and a program-high ranking of No. 9 nationally, the highest ranking in school history after defeating Virginia 8-7 in March. Murphy coached two All-Americans (Caroline McGuire and Mandy Friend) in 2006.
