Shenandoah’s Lawrence Named College Men's Hoop Player of the Year, Ferrum’s Mitchell Rookie of the Year
Shenandoah's Jeremiah Lawrence and Ferrum's Derek Mitchell have been named Player and Rookie of the year, respectively, on the 2008 College Division Men's Basketball All-State team.  Washington and Lee's Adam Hutchinson has been named Coach of the Year. More

Christopher Newport freshman Chelsie Schweers has been named Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year on the 2008 College Division Women's Basketball All-State Team.  Mary Washington's Deena Applebury earned Coach of the Year honors. More
Singletary, Anderson, Greenberg Earn Top Men's Basketball Honors
Virginia's Sean Singletary, Virginia Tech's Seth Greenberg, and Richmond's Kevin Anderson have been named Player, Coach and Rookie of the year, respectively, on the 2008 University Division All-State Men's Basketball Team.

Virginia Wesleyan's Rebecca Leedom has been named Rookie of the Year, while Christopher Newport's Brittany Collins and Lindsay Birch have been named Player and Coach of the Year on the 2007 VaSID College Division Volleyball All-State Team.

Richmond's Tim Hightower, Kevin Grayson and Dave Clawson have been named University Division Offensive Player, Rookie and Coach of the Year, respectively.  Virginia's Chris Long earned Defensive Player of the Year.

W&L's Van Devender Named College Women's Soccer Player of the Year
Washington and Lee forward Anne Van Devender has been named Player of the Year on the 2007 College All-State Women's Soccer Team.  Lynchburg's Betsy Kwiatkowski earned Rookie of the Year, while Roanoke's Phill Benne and Lynchburg's Dr. Todd Olsen shared Coach of the Year honors.

Virginia's Sarah Kirkwood garnered top honors as Player of the year on the 2007 University Volleyball All-State team.  Virginia Tech Felicia Willoughby earned Rookie of the Year and Liberty's Shane Pinder earned Coach of the Year. More
JMU's Cutchins Named VaSID Field Hockey Player of the Year
GK Kelsey Cutchins of James Madison has been named Player of the Year on the 2007 VaSID University Field Hockey All-State Team.  Virginia's Shelley Edmonds earned Rookie of the Year, while ODU's Beth Anders was named Coach of the Year.
