NEWPORT NEWS, VA. – Christopher Newport University won 69.2%
of its athletic contests in the 2008-09 athletic season to
win the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association
College Division All-Sports Survey. This marks the fifth
time since 2000-01 that the Captains have won the overall
award.

the Year.
