Ferrum's football team participated in the 2nd Annual Relay for Life held April 1-2, 2005 at the Ferrum College Fitness Center.  The event benefits the American Cancer Society.  Over 300 students from the campus participated, including a number of football players.  This year's event started with a "Cancer Survivors Lap", which honored individuals who are cancer survivors by allowing them to walk the first lap of the event.
