Walker Named All-Tournament

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College senior volleyball standout Jessica Walker (Front Royal, Va./Warren County) has been named to the All-Tournament Team from the 2007 Emory & Henry Invitational All-Tournament, held last weekend in Emory.

In four matches at the tournament, Walker recorded 118 assists, 34 kills, 26 digs and five service aces.  She helped Ferrum go 2-2 at the tournament with wins over Randolph College and NCAA Div. II opponent Chowan University, and losses to University of Virginia at Wise and Bluefield College.  The complete All-Tournament team is listed below.

Ferrum returns to action tonight at non-conference opponent Bridgewater College, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Bridgewater.  The Panthers will then play four matches at the Roanoke Invitational Sept. 8-9 in Salem.
