Ferrum, E&H Women's Soccer Match Ends in 1-1 Tie

FERRUM, Va. -- After 90 minutes weren't enough to decide the women's soccer match between Ferrum College and Emory & Henry College, 20 minutes more could still not determine a winner and the non-conference match was a draw.

Kayla Callegari put the Wasps up 1-0 at 19:17 when she scored off Colleen Johnson's corner kick.  With 17 seconds left before the first half expired, Ferrum senior Corinne Musanti answered with an unanswered goal.

Panther goalkeeper Katie Hodkinson, in his first year with the Panthers, made two saves, while her counterpart from E&H Meghan Smith made five saves.  Ferrum travels to New York this Saturday to take on the College of Staten Island, with game time set for 2 p.m.
