Panther Men Top Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Derek Mitchell had another double-double effort as Ferrum College notched back-to-back men's basketball non-conference wins with a 61-55 win on the road today.

Mitchell had 17 points and 11 rebounds, going 7-8 from the floor.  Sophomore Keith Crump added 15 points.  Ferrum (4-4) led 26-20 at halftime.

Lancaster Bible (0-8) shot just 33% from the floor, compared to Ferrum's 46%.  Eric Nulf led the Chargers with 22 points on 6-11 shooting.

Ferrum returns to action on December 19 at NCAA Division I opponent Winston-Salem State University.
