Panther Women Drop Two at Methodist Thanksgiving Tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of women's basketball games this weekend at Methodist University's Innkeeper/Cross Creek Turkey Shootout.  The Panthers fell 77-72 Nov. 24 to Otterbein College, then fell 82-69 this afternoon to Piedmont College.  Both were non-conference contests.

Nov. 25 Box Score:  Piedmont 82, Ferrum 69

Freshman Kierra Parker was named to the All-Tournament Team.  She had 14 points and four assists against Otterbein, then had 12 points and four assists in the loss to Piedmont.

Ferrum (0-5) plays one more game prior to the holiday break, Dec. 4 at Emory & Henry College.  Tip-off for the non-conference contest is set for 7 p.m.
