Grulkowski Named USA South Golf Rookie of the Week

FERRUM, Va. -- Freshman Brian Grulkowski (Lancaster, Va./Lancaster) has been named Golf Rookie of the Week by the USA South Athletic Conference.  Grulkowski shot a 19-over par 163 to finish tied for 40th, out of 60 golfers, at the Virginia State Intercollegiate Golf Championship October 14-15 at Nansemond River Golf Club in Suffolk, Virginia.

Grulkowski was Ferrum's top finisher at the event and had the highest individual finish for a Ferrum golfer this fall.  Grulkowski shot a first round 83 then followed with an 80 in round two.
