FERRUM, Va. - Ferrum College junior midfielder
Stephanie Perih
(Centreville, Va./Paul VI) has been named to the 2007 Women's
Lacrosse College Division All-State second team, as selected by the
Virginia Sports Information Directors.
2007 VaSID Women's Lacrosse College Division
All-State Team
Perih set two school records this season with 47 goals and 52
points. Ferrum's '07 scoring leader, Perih finished second
in the USA South Athletic
Conference in goals per game (3.36) and sixth in points per game
(3.71).

USA South first team
All-Conference selection this year. It was her third year
being named to the All-Conference team, earning honorable mention in
2005 and 2006. This is Perih's first All-State honor.
She joins Ginni Matern, a second team selection in 2004, as only the
second player ever from Ferrum to earn All-State recognition.
A two-sport student-athlete at Ferrum, Perih earned All-Conference
second team honors in women's soccer last fall. She has played
soccer and lacrosse at Ferrum three seasons each.
Ferrum finished 5-9 this season under first-year Head Coach Karen
Harvey. The win total is Ferrum's highest in the nine-year
history of the program. For more information, please contact the Ferrum College Sports
