Softball Players Named All-Conference

FERRUM, Va. - The USA South Athletic Conference named it's All-Conference softball team April  11 and Ferrum College had three players represented on the team.

Sophomore catcher Lauren Thurman (Hardy, Va./Franklin) was named to the second team.  Thurman is batting .309 with five doubles, one home run, 21 runs scored and 21 RBI.

       2007 USA South Softball All-Conference Team

Joining Thurman on the All-Conference team as honorable mentions are senior DH Katie Custis (Onancock, Va./Nandua) and junior third baseman Kathleen Gulino (Alexandria, Va./Mt. Vernon).
