Defeats Medaille
SALEM, Va. - Junior
Stephanie Perih (Centreville, Va./Paul VI) had six goals and a
pair of assists as Ferrum College earned a 10-4 non-conference
victory over Medaille College. The game was played at the city
of Salem's new FieldTurf facility on the campus of Salem High
School.

Senior Kerry Toomey
(Arnold, Md./Broadneck) had two goals for the Panthers, while
senior Carlyn
Kubler (Union Hall, Va./Franklin County) and junior
Corinne Musanti
(Staten Island, N.Y./St. John Villa) had a goal each.
Kim Coleman scored three goals for Medaille (1-1), with Lauren
Droege scoring the other. Ferrum led 6-2 at halftime.
Freshman Crystal Heglar (Aldie, Va./Loudoun County) played all 60
minutes in net for Ferrum, making 10 saves. Betty Lupa was in
net for Medaille, making 10 saves.
Ferrum (2-2) returns to action Saturday, March 17, at home against
North Carolina Wesleyan College. Prior to the match, Ferrum
