Cline Named Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Ferrum
Will Also Coach Cross Country Teams

FERRUM, VA – Director of Athletics Abe Naff has announced that Chris Cline has been named Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Ferrum College.  Cline will work with first-year Head Coach Bill Tharp, and will also serve as Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach.

Cline comes to Ferrum from Greensboro College, where he served as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach during the 2004-05 season.  From 2002-04, he served as a Student Assistant Coach with the Greensboro men's basketball program.  Cline was a student manager for the Pride during the 2001-02 season. 

Cline has worked summer basketball camps at Wake Forest University and Stanford University.  While at Greensboro, he served as a Resident Hall Director and played two seasons with the men's tennis team.  He graduated from Greensboro in May of 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Studies with a concentration in coaching.
