Collins Earns USA South Men's Soccer Honor
Men's Soccer Player Named to All-Conference
Team
FERRUM, Va. – Ferrum College men's soccer standout
Jack Collins (Williamsburg,
Va./Jamestown)
has been named to the USA South Athletic Conference All-Conference team
as a second team selection.
2005 USA South Men's Soccer All-Conference Team
Collins, a forward, registered 22 points this season. He
had six goals and new school record 10 assists for the Panthers.
He becomes the first Ferrum men's soccer player to earn All-Conference
since three Panthers did so in 1999.
Ferrum finished the season at 13-7 overall, bettering last year's 0-16
record. The Panthers are lead by Head Coach John Faircloth, who
just completed his second season at the helm of the Panthers men's
soccer program.
