CNU Picked to Win League, Shenandoah Second
Ferrum, Va. – The 2004
USA South Athletic Conference football preseason poll has been
released and Ferrum College is picked to finish third in the

In a vote of the league's head coaches, Christopher Newport
University and Shenandoah University have been picked to finish
first and second, respectively.
Rounding out this year's
poll are Methodist College, Averett University, Greensboro
College, and North Carolina Wesleyan College. N.C. Wesleyan

claimed the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III
playoffs all three years with head-to-head wins over Ferrum in
2001 and 2002, and a win over Shenandoah in 2003.
