USA South Softball Tournament
Pairings Announced
FAYETTEVILLE, NC -- The 2005 USA South
Athletic Conference Softball Tournament pairings have been
announced by the league office and the Ferrum College Panthers
have drawn the #6 seed.

Methodist College has earned the regular season title and will
play as the top seed in this week's tournament. Greensboro
College is the #2 seed, followed by #3 Peace College, #4 North
Carolina Wesleyan College, #5 Christopher Newport University, #6
Ferrum College, #7 Averett University, and #8 Shenandoah
University.
Tournament Seeds
1. Methodist (29-8, 12-2 USA South);
2. Greensboro (21-10, 9-5); 3. Peace
(23-15, 8-6); 4. N.C. Wesleyan (19-15, 8-6);
5. Christopher Newport (20-17, 7-7);
6. Ferrum (19-13, 7-7); 7.
Averett (11-24, 4-10); 8. Shenandoah (9-17, 1-13)
The tournament runs from Friday through Sunday, April 15-17 in
Raleigh, North Carolina, and is being co-hosted by North Carolina
Wesleyan College and Greensboro College.
The tournament opens Friday with the following schedule:
#1 Methodist vs. #8 Shenandoah, 3 p.m.
#4 NC Wesleyan vs. #5 CNU, 3 p.m.
#3 Peace vs. #6 Ferrum, 5 p.m.
#2 Greensboro vs. #8 Averett, 5 p.m.
