Koon Earns All-Conference in Golf- Senior Places 7th at USA South Tournament

Koon (Roanoke, Va./William Byrd) has earned All-Conference
second team honors in men's golf in the USA South Athletic
Conference for the 2003-04 season.
2004
USA South Golf Tournament
Koon shot a six over par 150 at last weekend's 2004 USA South Golf
Tournament, held April 17-18 at Ford's Colony Country Club in
Williamsburg, Virginia.
Koon was in third place after the first day of competition with a
two over par 74. He closed with a 76 in the second round,
securing a spot on the All-Conference team. Ferrum's last
All-Conference honor came in 2000 when Jeff Greenfield was also a
second-team honoree.
Koon helped Ferrum place fourth at the USA South Tournament, a
three-spot jump from last year's finish. The Panthers were led
this year by first-year Head Coach Jeremy Viens. For more
