Baseball Completes Sweep of Greensboro
- Panthers Win 5-3 Today on the Road

- Ferrum, Va. -- Ferrum College completed a
three-game sweep of USA South Athletic Conference opponent
Greensboro College with a 5-3 win on the road this afternoon.
The Panthers defeated Greensboro 15-12 and 10-3 yesterday.

Senior catcher Kevin
Griffin (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring), pictured above, went 3-3
with an RBI to lead Ferrum's offense. Griffin is batting .361
with three doubles, two triples, seven home runs, and 20 RBI this
season.

Meeks (Rocky Mount, Va./Franklin County) scattered six hits over
seven innings to get the win. Meeks struck out nine
batters. Junior Todd
Meadows (South Boston,
Va./Halifax County)
was credited with the save. He pitched the last two innings,
allowing two hits with one walk and three strikeouts.

- Ferrum improves to 21-4 overall and 13-2 in the USA
South. Greensboro is now 18-11, 6-9 in league play. The
Panthers return to action Tuesday, March 30, when they host
