Durham, Fuller Named Players of the Week
USA South Honors Basketball Duo
 
Ferrum, Va. -- Senior Tanisha Durham (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) and freshman Rob Fuller (Timberlake, N.C./Person County) and have earned Player of the Week honors from the USA South Athletic Conference this week.  Durham has been named Women's Basketball Player of the Week, while Fuller has earned Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.
 
Durham scored a game-high 26 points in Ferrum's 83-72 win over Bridgewater College Dec. 5 at home.  Bridgewater was unbeaten at 3-0 prior to the game.  Durham is a two-time All-Conference first team selection.
 
Fuller averaged 13.3 points and 3.7 rebounds as Ferrum went 2-1 last week.  Ferrum defeated NAIA opponent Southern Virginia University 75-68 Dec. 1 in Ferrum, lost 75-64 to the Apprentice School Dec. 5, and defeated Williamson College 70-59 Dec. 6.  The last two games were in the Salisbury Optimist Classic in Salisbury, Maryland, where Fuller was named to the All-Tournament team.

The Ferrum women play two more games before the semester break, tonight at Emory & Henry College and Thursday at home against Peace College.  Thursday's game against Peace is Ferrum's USA South opener.
