Harris Named All-Conference in Volleyball
Senior Named to USA South 2nd Team

Harris has been named to the USA South Athletic
Conference's All-Conference second team.

- Harris is averaging 4.25 kills per game and has a .343 attack
percentage for the Panthers this season. She earned two USA South Volleyball Player of the Week honors
this season, September 29 and October 22. Harris was an
All-Conference first team selection a year ago. She is the daughter of Cheryl and Frank Harris of
Martinsville, Virginia, and a 2000 graduate of Laurel Park High
School.

- Last weekend in a 3-2 win over Peace College, Harris set new
school records for match kills with 37 and match total
attacks with 68. The previous record of 34 match kills was
set by Susie Wilson against Lynchburg College on October 31,
1998. The previous record of 59 total attacks was set by Kia
Williams against Averett University on November 5, 1995.
The Panthers will play next in the 2003 USA South Volleyball
Tournament, to be held Nov. 7-8 in Winchester, Virginia.
