- Jackson Earns Dixie Rookie of the Week
- Second Honor This Season for Freshman Guard

- Ferrum, Va. – Ferrum
College's Chris Jackson
(Clayton, N.C./Garner) has been named Dixie Conference
Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for his performance in three
Ferrum games last week. It is the second such award for the
5'11" freshman guard, having also earned the honor on January
7th.

- Jackson
scored 11 points in the Panthers' 83-78 win over Jan. 15 Averett
University, and 17 points in a 79-70 loss to Jan. 18 Christopher
Newport University. He also scored five points in a 92-49
loss Jan. 19 to Randolph-Macon College. Jackson averaged
11.0 points over three games and was perfect from the line, going
12-12. He has made 14 consecutive free throws in Ferrum's
last four games.
