Everett Foxx ’92
Richmond, Virginia

Played men’s basketball for Coach Bill Pullen from 1989-92  *  Named to 1992 National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Team  *  Holds 17 school records at Ferrum including career leading scorer with 2,112 career points  *  Helped Ferrum win its first-ever Dixie Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship in 1992  *  Named 1992 Dixie Tournament Most Valuable Player  *  Led Panthers to first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament, where they advanced to the second round  *  Named to the Top-10 All-Time Players in Dixie Conference history  *  All-Region & All-Conference First Teams in 1992  *  All-State Second Team in 1992  *  Played professional basketball in the U.S. in the Los Angeles Pro League, where he was a league Honorable Mention, and for the Fayetteville Flyers of the Global Basketball Association  *  Played professionally in Australia, France, Taiwan, and Hong Kong  *  Played for Athletes in Action, a league which recruits top Christian Athletes from across the United States (Everett is most proud of his affiliation with Christian basketball teams)  *  After pro career, he went to work with the department of Juvenile Justice, working with the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents  *  Is currently employed by the Department of Correctional Education as a Career & Technical Education Instructor

Ferrum College Physician from August of 1970 until July of 1993  *  Covered Panther athletics from preseason fall sports camps through the conclusion of spring sports post-season play  *  Her greatest joy in being at Ferrum was in caring for students, both athletes and non-athletes  *  Recipient of Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award at Ferrum  *  Business & Professional Women’s Club of Franklin County Woman of the Year  *  Board certified family practice physician  *  Member of Appomattox Episcopal Women  *  Member of the Appomattox Courthouse Historical Quilting Guild  *  Member of the National Quilt Club  *  Member of the American Quilting Society  *  Member of the National Quilting Society
 

Phil Mosser ’70
Virginia Beach, Virginia

Played fullback for Coach Hank Norton’s football team from 1968-69  *  Member of Ferrum’s 1968 National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship Team  *  After leaving Ferrum, went on to play football at the College of William & Mary  *  1970, 2nd in Southern Conference rushing, All-Conference team  *  1971, 1st in Southern Conference all-purpose yards, 3rd in  nation all-purpose yards, All-Conference team  *  1971, Southern Conference Most Outstanding Athlete, competed in Tangerine Bowl with William & Mary  *  President of Phil Mosser Construction in Virginia Beach, Virginia  *  Rancher-farmer in Craig County, Virginia
 

Tommy Throckmorton '62
Saluda, Virginia

Played for Coach Hank Norton’s in 1960 and 1961  *  Also played basketball at Ferrum  *  Coach Norton’s first football recruit in 1960  *  After leaving Ferrum, went on to play football for and receive his degree from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia  *  Upon graduation from Randolph-Macon, coached football and taught at George Wythe High School in Wytheville, Virginia  *  After leaving George Wythe, served as Assistant Football Coach at a number of Division I colleges including Virginia Military Institute, Wake Forest University, Virginia Tech, College of William & Mary, East Carolina University, Boston College, University of Richmond, Randolph-Macon College  *  Currently employed with the National Football League’s Houston Texans as a member of their Scouting Department
