Lincoln, Nebraska

Member of Ferrum College football team from 1969-70 as quarterback  *  After leaving Ferrum, went on to play football at the College of William & Mary  *  Began college coaching career at age of 23  *  Coached at William & Mary, Ferrum, East Carolina, Richmond, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Syracuse, Washington, Boston College, Wisconsin, Purdue and Nebraska  *  Has coached in the ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Big East, PAC-10 and SEC for over 25 years  *  Over 15 of his players have gone on to professional football careers, many of which were 1st- or 2nd-round selections in the National Football League  *  Helped college teams reach 10 Bowls, including 2 Gator Bowls, 2 Hall of Fame Bowls, Fiesta Bowl, Independence Bowl, Peach Bowl, Sugar Bowl, All-American Bowl  *  While at Virginia, helped Cavaliers win ACC championship  *  While at Washington, helped Huskies win PAC-10 championship

Member of Ferrum College women’s basketball team from 1991-94 as guard  *  Served as team captain during senior year in 1993-94  *  Named to Dixie Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Team 1991 and 1992  *  Named to Dixie Conference Academic All-Conference Team in 1993 and 1994  *  Scored 1,237 career points from 1991-94  *  Currently #4 on Ferrum women’s basketball all-time scoring list  *  Currently #2 on Ferrum women’s basketball all-time assists list  *  Actively involved with husband Billy Wagner with Major League Baseball Youth Development  *  Involvements included community activities with Houston Astros and support for Ferrum College women’s basketball program  *  Married to New York Mets All-Star pitcher Billy Wagner

Wayne Stinnette ‘69
Forest, Virginia

Played football for Coach Hank Norton’s in 1968 & 1969  *  Starting center for Ferrum’s National Junior College Athletic Association undefeated National Championship team in 1968  *  Helped Ferrum win the Region X championship and was named to the NJCAA All-Region X First Team and the NJCAA All-America First Team in 1969  *  After leaving Ferrum, earned a football scholarship at Virginia Tech  *  Served as Team Captain during his senior year at Virginia Tech  *  Coached at Brookville High School for 15 years  *  Brookville High School Hall of Fame inductee in 1984*  Served as a volunteer Assistant Football Coach at Ferrum from 1991-94  *  Served as volunteer Assistant Softball Coach at Ferrum in 1993  *  Brookville High School Softball Coach from 1988-92, where his team won three district and two regional championships  *  Organized the Campbell County Dixie Youth Girls Softball League in 1985  *  Campbell County Youth Girls Basketball Coach in 1984 (County Champions)  *  Campbell County Youth League Football Coach from 1972-76  *  Campbell County & Bedford County Youth Girls Softball Coach from 1980-90, where his teams won eight regional titles and were state runners-up twice  *  Established a successful 33-year residential/commercial building career in Lynchburg, Forest and surrounding counties  *  Mentored and taught his craft to several former employees who went on to establish successful building careers  *  Member of Central Virginia Home Builders Association  President, New London Athletic Association 1984
