Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2006 Induction Ceremony Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center Saturday, April 22, 2006   Former Ferrum College Football Coach Hank "Big Daddy" Norton was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Saturday, April 22, along with seven other individuals. (release) The ceremony was held at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center, and was attended by hundreds of fans of the eight folks being inducted.  Over 120 guests were in attendance to honor Norton, including administrators, coaches, alumni and friends.
