FERRUM, Va. - Top seeded Emory University led 2-0 after an inning and 8-0 after three before cruising to a 10-1 win over Bridgewater College this morning in game 4 of the NCAA Div. III Baseball Regional at Ferrum College.

The EU Eagles pounded out 13 hits in the win.  David Hissey, Tommy Dugan and Frank Pfister each had a pair of base hits.  Pfister went 2-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Starter Ian Garner earned the win on the mound for Emory, scattering six hits over seven innings.  He struck out five, walked none and allowed one earned run.

Ricky Reed led Bridgewater offensively going 3-4.  No other player had more than a single base hit.  Starter Matt Nolen absorbed the loss for BC.  He allowed 10 hits and six earned runs over six innings, walked one and struck out three.
