Philip Weeks ’52, of Forest, is a retired bishop.

Amos Rideout, Jr.  ’62, of Stony Creek, is a board member of Virginia United Methodist Pensions, Inc. where he serves as chair of the personnel and nominating committee.

James Clements ’67, of Hurt, is retired from Dominion Generation where he worked as a procurement engineer.

John G. Kines, Jr.  ’68, of Disputanta, has been appointed by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to the Virginia Board of Social Services.  Kines has served in local government more than 35 years.  He recently completed 12 years as a member of the Virginia Commission on Local Government.

Ron Davidson ’69, of Lynchburg, retired after 20 years of Gleaning for the World.

Dan Bryant ’72, of Henrico, is employed by On Hold Marketing as vice president/business development.

David Campbell ’74, of Midlothian, is employed by Honeywell.

Gene Haynes ’76, on Concord, NC, is employed by State Farm Insurance Co as an agent.

Al Midgett ’79, of Virginia Beach, is employed by R.E. Michel Company, LLC as an outside sales representative.

Mary Murphy Robertson ’80, of Williamsburg is employed by Wythe Candy as a sales representative.

Clark Childers ’80, of Williamsburg, is retired.  He is married to Susan Childers ’81, who is also retired.

Austin Bond ’81, of Ringgold, is employed by Piedmont Party Planners, Inc. as president, CEO.

Becky Kea ’81, of Boones Mill, is employed by Dr. Laura Moylan as an office assistant.

G. Bryan Slater ’82, of Washington, DC, has appointed as Assistant Secretary for Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C.  Previous to his current appointment, Slater served as the Director of Operations and Facilities for Freedom Partners Shared Services.  Throughout his highly lauded career, Slater has held many leadership positions within Federal and state governments.

Kevin Poeckert ’83, of Weyers Cave, is employed by the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church as a pastor at Mount Clinton United Methodist Church.

Ray Daisey ’84, of Horntown, is employed by Taylor Bank as assistant vice-president, branch manager.  He is living in the remote eastern shore of VA.

Scotty Bryan ’97, of Chesterfield, is employed by Chesterfield Utilities as a customer services operations manager for new construction.

Holly Stitham-Ellis ’97, of Virginia Beach, is employed by Virginia Beach City Public Schools as SEC coordinator, SPED Teacher and PBIS coach.

Jason Klink ’97, of Gloucester, received his master of public education degree from Old Dominion University.

Matthew Mills ’97, of Martinsville, is employed by Apple, Inc.  as an iOS senior specialist.

Nathan Daniels ’99, of North Chesterfield, is employed as owner of Daniels Sports Performance.  They train athletes and prepare them for competition out of Tuckahoe Sports in the Richmond area.

Toni Lynn Mills ’99, of Rocky Mount, is employed by DRRC as a director of operations and finance.

Ruby Childress ’01, of Crescent City, FL is married to Harley and has one child, Conner.  She is employed as a RN.

Derek Ritenour ’06, of Woodstock, VA, recently earned his masters of science in education from Shenandoah University and was hired as the assistant principal of Strasburg High School.
