Greetings from the Ferrum Admissions team! Please consider this your first of what we hope will be many warm welcomes from Ferrum College during your college career. I am Angela Goodpasture, Transfer Admissions Counselor, and I’m thrilled that you’ve taken the time to learn more about transferring to Ferrum. As a former transfer student I can relate to your questions and concerns about the transfer process. You might be wondering: Will my credits transfer? Does Ferrum have an articulation agreement with my school? What types of financial aid and scholarships can I receive? Once you apply to Ferrum, I become your personal counselor and will help you every step of the way up until you begin your first class at Ferrum. I know that the answers to the common questions above can vary depending on each student’s prior college history. With that in mind you can be sure that I will treat you like an individual and will advise you while taking into consideration your unique circumstances. My first piece of advice is to make a date to visit Ferrum’s campus! I would love the opportunity to meet with you, to show you around, and to assist you with the admissions process.
