Academic Opportunities at Ferrum College
At some schools, you’re lucky if a professor remembers your name. At Ferrum, they know your name, the grade you got on your last exam and possibly even your favorite movie. It’s not telepathy; they just happen to like getting to know their students. They may start out as teachers, but before you know it, your favorite faculty members are mentors. And then, maybe friends. Who knew a statistics professor could be so ... interesting? At Ferrum, you will learn from the best. Our faculty come to Ferrum from across the country—and around the world—because they are driven by academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and a desire to make a difference. Look at their credentials and you will see that our professors are authors, consultants, actors, scientists, innovators, researchers, and business leaders. From the first moment of your first class, you will know that they are one thing above everything else—teachers!
