Hey! My name is Billie Quesenberry and I am a senior at Ferrum. I am from Floyd, Va., which is only about thirty minutes from Ferrum. I am majoring in Media and Communication, and double minoring in psychology and business. I hope to work in Human Resources.

I am involved in multiple clubs and organizations at Ferrum. I am chairperson of the Boone Honors Advisory Council (HAC). I am president of the Ferrum College Lions Branch Club, a community service based organization. I am a member of Lambda Sigma and Sigma Tau Delta Honor societies at Ferrum. I am also an Admissions Ambassador. I am proud to be a Teacher Assistant for the College Skills class for students on academic warning and probation. After class hours, I am employed with the Catering Team in the Ferrum Dining Services.

The past two years I have attended the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference with the Boone Honors Program and have had the opportunity to travel to Denver and Chicago. This year’s conference is in Seattle! The Boone Honors Program travel scholarship also enabled me to study abroad to the U.S. Virgin Islands for a three week E-term, which was the experience of a lifetime! I also was able to study abroad in Ireland!
