Outdoor Recreation Minor

Outdoor Recreation is the path to an exciting career in the outdoors guiding and managing outdoor activites. Students have the unique opportunities to develop and hone their outdoor leadership skills by working and volunteering for Ferrum Outdoors. Student leaders organize and guide rock climbing, caving, canoeing, backpacking, and kayaking trips.

Sign up for REC 260: Foundations of Recreation or any of the 100 level skills courses (rock climbing, canoeing, backpacking, orienteering) to start your Outdoor Recreation Minor. REC 260 is offered every semester!
