CSK 092: College Skills
Students on academic warning are required to register and attend a College Skills class as stated in the college catalog. Multiple academic resources will be used to support students who are enrolled in this course. Students will be exposed to, and expected to use, a wide variety of mechanisms which have the proven potential to help students become more conscientious, disciplined and engaged as students work to regain good academic standing.
Pass/Fail.
One hour, credit not for graduation
CSK 096: College Skills
Students on academic probation are required to register and attend a College Skills class as stated in the college catalog. Academic probation usually indicates that the student had not been able to achieve good standing or has dropped below hours or GPA required after being on academic warning. As in CSK 092, students will work with multiple academic resources and will also analyze behaviors, academic strategies, and/or academic issues that placed the student on probation. Students will be exposed to, and expected to use, a variety of mechanisms which have proven potential to help students become more conscientious, disciplined, and engaged as students work to regain good academic standing.
One hour, credit not for graduation.
