The 2012 Blue Ridge Folklife Festival: A Photographic Review

Virginia’s largest celebration of authentic regional traditions – the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival – was held Sat. Oct., 27, 2012, at Ferrum College. This year's Festival exceeded expectations with more than 50 traditional crafts people; over 20 country foods prepared on site; 21 hours worth of traditional music; working dogs, mule jumping and horse pulling; vintage cars, tractors and farm machinery; moonshiner’s still and storytelling; children’s folk games and numerous other attractions. This year also included two Jack Tale Players Reunion performances.
