Dr. Braaten shares a holiday poem written by College staff member Michelle McCarthy.
I came across this delightful poem, "Holiday Candle," written by one of our dining room staff members, Michelle McCarthy:
Today we celebrate together
The Ferrum College family
Gathering for a feast
Making future memories
A holiday candle most represents
Each and every one of us
With its light glowing softly
And a rich red shade of love
It reminds us no matter how dark
We will never lose our way
It allows us to know we are not alone
No matter the time nor day
Our final message this year
Straight from our hearts so true
