Announcing a Women’s Swim Team

Ferrum College Athletic Director Abe Naff announced the move in early January saying that the team is just the latest offering for a, “proud athletic tradition” at Ferrum College.
The team is expected to have approximately 20 swimmers, according to Naff, who expected to hire a coach by the end of January. Announcements in the media and on the campus website have already created queries from interested swimmers, said Sports Information Director Gary Holden.
