Ferrum College Honors the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On Monday, January 21, the Ferrum College campus community celebrated the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a morning program in the Panther’s Den in Franklin Hall followed by an evening program in Vaughn Chapel.
The evening celebration featured keynote speaker Jamaal Jamison, poems, and songs from students, faculty and staff, followed by King's last speech "I've Been to the Mountaintop."
The two programs commemorating Dr. King were presented by the African American Student Association.
